Top 5 Tools Apps Performance in Ghana, Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 tools apps on a unified platform in Ghana showcased varying performance trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Xender - Share Music Transfer saw its weekly downloads gradually decline from nearly 58K at the end of March to approximately 26K by the end of June. Despite the decrease in downloads, the app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, peaking at around 426K in mid-April before descending to roughly 337K by the end of the quarter.

TickTock-TikTok Live Wallpaper exhibited a similar pattern, with weekly downloads dropping from about 17K to 11K over the quarter. Active users also showed a downward trend, starting from 87.5K in late March and dipping to around 71K by the end of June.

Call Screen - Call Themes IOS experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak at 22K in mid-May before declining sharply to minimal figures by mid-June. Active users, however, displayed a steadier trend, increasing from 33K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 40K by the end of June.

All Video Downloader & Player had a relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, maintaining figures around the 10K mark with some fluctuations. The app’s active users grew steadily, starting from 55K in late March and rising to nearly 68K by the end of June.

VPN Proxy - Fast Secure Proxy showed significant variation in weekly downloads, peaking at 22K in mid-April before dropping to around 4.7K by late June. Active users followed a similar trend, reaching a high of nearly 24K in mid-April and then decreasing to about 6.9K by the end of the quarter. The app also generated modest weekly revenues, peaking at $23 in early May.
